Position duties:

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for web application services
• Ensure the performance, security, and availability of web application services (MySQL, Apache etc)
• Collaborate with development teams to implement infrastructure as code
• Monitor and maintain the health of web application services and resolve any issues in a timely manner
• Automate repetitive tasks and processes to improve efficiency
• Investigate and resolve technical issues
• Act as a liaison between the Developers and the System Administrators
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and incorporate them into web application services
• Write technical documents and responses to technical tender requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in DevOps Engineer or Software Engineer role, ideally with PHP
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automation, and scripting
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix administration and server management
• Experience with web server management preferably Apache or Nginx
• Experience with database management preferably MariaDB
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
