Digital Wellbeing is a widely used term, in the sense that when people interact with technology, the experience should support mental and/or physical health in a measurable way. It therefore implies the ability to create and maintain a healthy relationship with technology and to use it appropriately to achieve goals.
The aim of the Digital Wellbeing@School project is to strengthen the capacity of schools and teachers to integrate digital education in a way that promotes digital wellbeing for students. As such, the project will improve students' skills regarding: i) managing online time; ii) making the most of digital learning; iii) evaluating what is displayed on social media; iv) recognising the risks associated with technology.
It aims to cultivate the capacity to integrate digital education for teachers in a way that promotes the health and mental well-being of both themselves and their students. The outcomes of this project include:
1. A framework for the digital well-being of schools in Europe
2. A Digital Wellbeing training course and platform for teachers: this is an Open Educational Resource, consisting of 6 modules:
a. Online research and evaluation
b. Digital content creation
