The latest work is by Ms. Hara Livaditi on "Training teachers on the STEAM methodology using an e-learning environment." Ms. Livaditi participates in the Department of Digital Systems, University of Piraeus Graduate Program in the "e-Learning" scientific path.
Ms. Livaditi says:
Steam is a methodology which combines five sciences. Physics, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math. Gains global recognition and is funded so that students can become familiar with it and develop their skills equally in all the disciplines.
In this thesis I will try to train educators on the specific methodology so as to enable them to use it in their classroom and planning. The problem-based learning theory will be used to support STEAM methodology. The goal is to see if by end of the tasks, the trainees (teachers) will have understood the methodology, whether they can design a scenario relying on it and if, finally, they developed their collaborative skills.
We wish her every success and good luck in her career.
